Fall Ball

Connor played pee-wee baseball this fall. He was able to pitch a few games and really enjoyed it. Of course, the best part would be the snacks after the game of which Kaylee got to share in too!

Olivia

Finally, the long-awaited day for Kaylee had arrived. She got to bring her class pet, Olivia, home for the weekend!! Olivia is a pink octopus with blue spots. I mean, what other octopus would there be as a class pet?!! Kaylee had a great time with Olivia. She slept with her, ate with her, and danced with her.

We even made sure Olivia was safe in her seatbelt

First Day of School

Another 1st day of school for the kiddos. Connor is in 2nd grade and Kaylee is in 4 yr old preschool. They were both excited about going to school.

Kaylee wanted to have a barnyard party this year so we decided to go to the Mayfield Dairy for her 4th birthday party! We toured the dairy, played some cow games, and ate ice cream and cake. Kaylee even got a special visit from Maggie, the Mayfield Cow.

We had a great visit with Andy's sisters and their families one Sunday this summer. We do not get to see Judy and her boys that often since they live out of state so it is always good to see them.

One day over the summer the kids and I went up to my parents' house to help my sister hang some pictures. Well, while I was hanging a few pictures, Aunt Lucy entertained Connor and Kaylee with one of their favorite activities to do together - BAKE!! Connor was responsible for reading and measuring the ingredients and Kaylee helped stir. Then of course, as all good cooks do they helped clean the dishes. Those two sure do love Aunt Lucy, and what a terrific aunt she is!!
