We went to visit the new Tellus Museum near my parents house over the holiday weekend. I told Connor the day before we went that we were going to see some gems and he asked me if he could bring his basketball. Now, you have to remember that this child plays basketball every moment he possibly can. So when I said gems, he thought I meant "gyms". After a good laugh, I then explained about the museum and of course he was not quite as excited. However, his favorite part of the visit did end up being the "panning for gems exhibit".

Can you say go orange?!! Andy's company color is a very bright orange as you can see from the shirts he got Connor and Kaylee. I told Andy that we would never lose either one of them when they wear these shirts. However, I couldn't resist taking their picture - it is not often that they match.

Oh the memories! Connor had his field day at school, and it was full of excitement and fun. Connor loved doing the relay races, tug-of-war, and of course the special snacks they got to choose!
