A Big Celebration

What an exciting December we had celebrating three birthdays. We started off celebrating with the birth of the 5th Abney grandchild, baby Wynn. She is adorable as you can see below. Then, we celebrated Andy's big day on Christmas Eve with his favorite homemade carrot cake that Grandma made. Finally, we celebrated the most important of all, our Savior Jesus. Christmas is such a special time for us to celebrate the grace we have been given and the love that has been lavished upon us all!!

Lots of Christmas Fun

Once again we took the kids to search for that special tree to cut down for Christmas. I remember doing this with my family growing up and we had some "great" trees throughout the years. I can definitely say I remember having a few that might run a tight race with the Charlie Brown tree. Andy and Connor cut down the tree while Kaylee took charge of the cart.
We also enjoyed decorating gingerbread men and Christmas tree cookies too!

A Dance, A Flip, and A Chase

This is Kaylee in a dance contest at Granddaddy's country club fall festival. She was breakin' it down so well (or could have been the fact that she is so cute) she made it to the finals. Her daddy was so proud!! You go girl!!

Andy also took part in a little physical activity earlier in the day. He decided it would be fun to try and catch this chicken or maybe more like run around like a chicken with his head cut off!

Pumpkin Patch

What fun we all had at the pumpkin patch last weekend. We went with our mentor group from Sunday school. The kids had a blast going on the hayride, the cow train, feeding goats, watching pig races and more.

Halloween Party

We had a halloween party with several friends at our house last week. The kids were all adorable wearing their costumes and enjoying some halloween treats.

Connor had a tailgate party for homecoming at his school and he joined in the fun and had his hair painted green.

Kaylee started her first year of choir and is loving it. This is just a fun song she learned. She decided one night to sing it at the top of her lungs while dancing around. This is the Kaylee only a few ever see (she is not always the shy, quiet princess).
