Christmas Fun

One afternoon during December we decorated cookies with friends and then took them to 2 fire stations to thank them and wish them a Merry Christmas. We wanted to help the kids see the importance of giving to others, and of course they had to taste test a cookie before giving them away! The kids really enjoyed being together, decorating, and visiting the fire station. To top it all off, the fire station crew gave us all a tour!

Another year spent with our closest friends sharing laughs, goodies, gifts, and a blessed time together. Amazing how big this group is getting and oh so cute the kiddos look in their Christmas p.j.'s

Christmas Tree Tradition

Off to the Christmas tree farm we went again this year. We all look forward to this tradition and this year we had an added bonus - the hairy cows. These cows were quite funny looking and Andy had fun feeding them while Connor tried to throw the bread on the cow's back. Kaylee stuck to feeding the goats.

Playin' in the leaves

Ready... set... go

Not too sure about this technique?

But the kids sure love burying Daddy's face

Thanksgiving

We had a great time gathering together with family for Thanksgiving. We are so very blessed to have our families that enjoy being together and we cherish these special times.

Always have to have a silly face pic

What cute little "monkeys"

We took the kids on a day trip to Pine Mountain during Thanksgiving Break. We visited the Animal Safari and rented a zebra van to tour through the safari. I drove of course so Andy could help feed the animals with the kids. It really ended up Andy having more fun feeding the animals than anyone. As you can see by the pictures, he enjoyed the up close and personal time with them!! Then we walked through the zoo part where the kids really liked the little 16 week old monkey. He was very cute trying to swing on his rope and play. We had a great afternoon before heading to Callaway to take the trolley through the lights display.
