Note to the Tooth Fairy

Connor lost his sixth tooth yesterday out playing frisbee with some friends. His daddy actually ran into him and the tooth came out - it was barely hanging in there anyway! He put the tooth in his tooth pirate for the tooth fairy and when he got up this morning the tooth was still there. The tooth fairy sometimes likes to be a little "tricky" at our house. So, Connor came and told me that the tooth was still in there and he couldn't find what she left anywhere. So, the hunt began for his prize and after looking at every exterior door in the house (Mommy might have given him a clue that the tooth fairy might of been in a hurry and just put his prize by a door?!!!) Connor found a pack of Smarties Bubblegum by the front door. He said, "Man, the tooth fairy is really hard sometimes!" He then went and got the note (see below) that he left for the tooth fairy the night before (I did not know about this note until this point). Too mine and his surprise the tooth fairy granted his request: "I do not want money for my tooth." The tooth fairy's "little antics" paid off with a very happy boy!

Daddy and Kaylee

The gang

We all enjoyed an egg hunt with our great friends again this year. The kids had fun hunting for their eggs and then we all ate a picnic supper together. What a blessing it is to have these families to celebrate these special holidays and share the common bond of our love for our resurrected Savior, Jesus Christ!

Triking Day

Kaylee's preschool has a Triking Day each spring where the gym is set up like a little town and the kids can bring their bikes, scooters, etc to ride around town and visit the Walmart, vet, school, church, QT and more. Kaylee loved it!

We gave Connor and Granddaddy tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters for their birthdays this year. Everyone loved the entertainment provided by these guys.

Basketball Season

Connor had a blast playing basketball this season. He had a great coach and assistant(his Daddy) that really encouraged the boys and just had a lot of fun! They did really well too! The team ended up the season undefeated and won the championship game! Way to go team!

Connor Turns 7

Connor turned 7 and celebrated with friends with a sleepover. He started planning his own party several months before and had it all planned out as to each activity and food he wanted. He cracks us up with all his creative ideas and planning! The boys had a blast playing, watching a movie with popcorn and finally off to bed. Well, after alot of giggling (I never realized how loud boys can giggle). What a fun way to celebrate your big day, Connor!
