Our Little Diva

Kaylee was recently invited to a friend's DIVA birthday party. The girls got to dress up in fancy dresses and get their hair, make-up, and nails done! Then they each were called by name to walk the red carpet. I may be a little biased but I believe we have one precious little diva on our hands!

Fall Festival Fun

We went to a pumpkin patch and then to the fall festival at Granddaddy's clubhouse. The kids rode these animal statues, picked a pumpkin, ate lots of goodies and more. Andy and Kaylee were able to get a little dance time in during the dance contest too!

The kids had a blast at our annual Halloween gathering. Everyone enjoyed some yummy food and then went trick-or-treating!

Stitches

Connor had his first experience with stitches last week. He was playing basketball at recess at school when he tried to steal the ball from a classmate and they ran into each others' heads. Well, unfortunately Connor got the worst of it. He said the other boy fell down but I stayed standing even though he was the one with the cut above his eye. He is a trooper! He cried only because he couldn't stay out at recess and finish the game. A couple hours and 6 stitches later he was good to go!

Sweet Cousins

The Abney crew all got together and went to watch GT play MTSU in football. We had a great time together.

Fall Ball

Connor played pee-wee baseball this fall. He was able to pitch a few games and really enjoyed it. Of course, the best part would be the snacks after the game of which Kaylee got to share in too!

Olivia

Finally, the long-awaited day for Kaylee had arrived. She got to bring her class pet, Olivia, home for the weekend!! Olivia is a pink octopus with blue spots. I mean, what other octopus would there be as a class pet?!! Kaylee had a great time with Olivia. She slept with her, ate with her, and danced with her.

We even made sure Olivia was safe in her seatbelt

First Day of School

Another 1st day of school for the kiddos. Connor is in 2nd grade and Kaylee is in 4 yr old preschool. They were both excited about going to school.

Kaylee wanted to have a barnyard party this year so we decided to go to the Mayfield Dairy for her 4th birthday party! We toured the dairy, played some cow games, and ate ice cream and cake. Kaylee even got a special visit from Maggie, the Mayfield Cow.
