Our baby girl experienced another milestone today. She started her 1st year of preschool. We went for an hour yesterday to meet her teacher and have a mini day together at school. One of her teachers, Mrs. Sarah, made the cutest snack - mini hamburgers and fries. Since Kaylee doesn't like hamburgers she did not want to eat it until she realized it was made of cookies and icing. Mommy took special note of this snack idea!! Today we drove through the carpool line and she did great going into school. She told me at the end of the day that she did not cry or whine! She had lots of fun!
Oh, our baby girl turned 3! Kaylee is so special to our family. She truly is our little princess. She can give the funniest looks, laugh hysterically like her brother, and be so sweet you want to eat her up!

Connor is now a big 1st grader. He really enjoyed his 1st day of 1st grade. I love the fact that even though he is getting bigger, he still takes time to play picnic with his little sister and even make lunch for her doll, Flossie!
This past weekend we went to the Laser Show at Stone Mountain and then the boys camped out in Andy's sister's backyard. Then, the next morning we drove to Cleveland to enjoy a day at Mountain Lakes.
This year we went to Cartersville to celebrate the 4th with the Abney side of the family. We had a great time hanging out at the pool, eating, watching the skydivers come down over the 18th fairway, and the fireworks.
We are a very blessed family of four. Andy and I have been married for 13 years and have a 9 year old son, Connor and a 6 year old daughter, Kaylee. They both have a contagious laugh and big beautiful eyes to go with it. God has not only given us the greatest gift of His Son, Jesus but two of our own precious children to love. We hope you enjoy just a glimpse of our family.
