Accessorized for Success

This is Connor (not to be confused with Joe Johnson, Mike Bibby, or Josh Smith of the Hawks) wearing his cool new headband and wristbands his Uncle Bo gave him. Now Uncle Bo is even cooler than ever!! Does he look like he's ready for the NBA or what?! Like I said before - March Madness continues at our house!

Connor's March Madness

Prayer time after the game as a team
Connor going in for a lay up

Apparently he is waiting for the outlet pass from the rebounder!

We signed Connor up for the Upwards Basketball program a few weeks ago and let me just tell you that excited is an understatement when describing how Connor was when he got to play in his 1st game! He told me that night after his game that he wished everyday could be Saturday so he could play basketball. One of his coaches has nicknamed him "Speedy" because he is everywhere, and I don't think his feet ever stop moving. Needless to say, we are enjoying our own little March Madness!

Snow Day

What a fun day in the snow we had on Sunday! Connor and Andy really enjoyed throwing snowballs at Mommy. Kaylee enjoyed picking up the snow one little piece at a time and filling her bucket. What a beautiful snow it was!!

The Little Red Hen

Connor had his Kindergarten music program this week entitled The Little Red Hen. He played the part of the miller. He liked his part the best because he got to sit in the chair the whole time. He did a great job stirring the little red hen's dough she brought to the mill.

Chatting with Uncle Pat

The flower girls - Kaylee & Mallory

These are a few cute pics of Kaylee and her friends at Connor's birthday party. Kaylee and her friend Kendall were in their own little world during the party. They played together and carried on their own little conversations. Kaylee is really into changing babies' diapers and apparently during the party she decided to help Kendall with hers. Sorry, I didn't get the camera out in time for that picture. However, I did capture a little bit of the great laughter they were having together. How great life is through the laughter of a child!!

Our Baby Boy Turns 6

Another year has passed and that means our baby boy is growing older. It is amazing how quickly they grow. It was only a few weeks ago that he was that little chubby, brown-eyed baby you could just eat up, right?!!! Connor celebrated his 6th birthday with family at Five Guys and then had a Chef's party at our house with friends later that week. He and his friends made their own slice of pizza and then decorated cookies for dessert. Connor is such a blessing to our family and we love those big, brown-eyed crazy faces and contagious laughter he has. Happy 6th birthday, buddy!!

Great Impressions From Head to Toe

Kaylee loves to make impressions with the toy she received from her cousins for Christmas. She decided in order to get the best impression of her feet, she must take off her socks! Then, she proceeded to do her head. As you can see, this time of year produces a lot of static electricity in her hair. Needless to say, the head impression did not help matters!
